Kuwait Oil Company awards contracts worth $1.15bn

Kuwait Oil Company signed 14 contracts worth US$1.15 billion in April, according to Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai Al-aam.

The contracts included service providing of seismic data processing and consultancy services including manpower hiring for its offshore projects.

The contracts include the works on the GC-24 and EPF-120 pipelines as well as the North Kuwait facilities, where Chinese Sinopec has won a US$1 billion contract, including the procurement of jack up rigs and maintenance.

The list of companies who won these contracts include WesternGeco International, Firtas SA GCC, Sinopec International Petroleum, Accenture Middle East and other companies.
