WEG has been developing its presence in the Middle East, and has recently been awarded the contract to supply specialist electric motors and drives for the pumps at the Ras Markaz Oil Park Project in Oman as well as the supply of motors and drives for the Duqm refinery.
The Middle East arm of the firm is headed by managing director Raphael Torrano, who spoke with Oil & Gas Middle East on the sidelines of ADIPEC 2021 about his company’s history and the products that it currently offers.
