News in today that work on the Karan Gas Program is now underway in the Saudi Arabia. The massive gas development is being fast-tracked by Saudi Aramco in an attempt to service the ever-growing gas demand in the KSA. 

ArabianOilandGas.com would like its readers to help us find out exactly how much the Karan Gas Program is actually costing.

There doesn’t seem to be any mention of Saudi Aramco’s budget or the value of specific contracts anywhere.

We’re assuming the figure runs into the billions, but we don;t have a definitive figure, or even a ball-park.

If anyone working on Aramco’s first non-associated offshore gas field development for J. Ray McDermott, Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co, Petrofac or GS Engineering could enlighten us, we’d be very grateful.
