JGC Corporation brought in $219mn in profit in 2018, up 44% from 2017. In July 2018, Al Asilah Desalination Company, in which JGC is the major shareholder, won an award to build, own and operate a seawater desalination plant in Oman. It also collaborated with PETRONAS to improve LNG plants using digital technology.
