Iran’s oil & gas sector would welcome investment from all foreign and Iranian based businesses, according to Deputy Managing Director of Integrated Planning Department at National Iranian Oil Company, Abdolreza Assadi.

News site Zawya reported that many European and Asian companies have had negotiations with NIOC to develop independent oil fields, he noted.

Assadi added that Iran aims to increase its collaborations with foreign companies and sign new win-win oil contracts.

NIOC has defined 41 projects with top priorities for investment which includes 23 projects in oil sector and 15 projects in Gas sector plus two environmental projects, he said.

Assadi concluded that NIOC would facilitate the investment of all internal and international companies to invest in Irans oil and gas projects.
