What is your company’s scope of business within the oil and gas industry?
Petrogear’s ability to serve as a one-stop shop for machining, fabrication, and design is achieved by the array of services that we provide. Our vision is to be a preferred partner for manufacturing needs in the oil and gas industry.
Being independent makes all the difference. Petrogear combines the comprehensive, value-added services of large companies with the responsive service and competitive costs of a smaller independent company. It is  strategically based in the UAE, with a purpose-built, 7,000m2 facility.
Petrogear is also an authorised distributor for Justrite safety containment systems. Justrite’s commitment extends to a variety of services that help support its mission to protect people, property, and the environment from potential harm when handling and storing flammable and hazardous materials.
In which countries in the Middle East are you most active, and how do you plan to expand your reach in the region?
Petrogear is most active within the UAE, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. We believe that once industry professionals working in these locations encounter our equipment while in use on site, word of mouth will expand our reach in these regions. It is the industry professionals who utilise the equipment on site, not the purchasing department, and we firmly believe their feedback and input is the most direct and best way to market and continually improve our product development.
Which clients do you work with, and what oil and gas projects have you been involved with recently?
Our clientele includes well intervention, hydraulic workover/snubbing companies, top-drive companies, and solids control providers. We offer a vast range of products, including high-precision machining, equipment refurbishment, DNV 2.7-1 offshore containers and baskets, mud tanks, mud gas separator units, custom container buildings, and rig access stairs and ladders.
With the Justrite safety product line, our clients are in all sectors, from healthcare and medical institutions, laboratories, the manufacturing sector, and universities, to airports, hotels, and resorts.
Why did  you decide to participate in ADIPEC 2017?
ADIPEC is not only the world’s most influential oil and gas exhibition and conference, but also serves as a global platform for the oil and gas industry to showcase products, services, trends, and developments in the industry, and naturally we participate.
Petrogear will be attending ADIPEC this year to discover new products and innovations within the industry, and to look at forming new partnerships and relationships with suppliers. Additionally, we will be actively monitoring the event, and will be deciding where we would like to reserve a stand for ADIPEC 2018. That is where industry professionals gather to share expert advice and connect with new contacts.
