The Oil & Gas Middle East Awards saw the awards go to 12 of the most deserving winners who came from three broad categories, namely Project Awards, Initiative Awards and Company Awards.
Nominations were arrived at by an independent panel of judges, made up of experts from across the industry. To keep the awards process as transparent as possible the judges were not allowed to discuss their choices with each other, instead they were asked to rank each nominee in order of preference. The judge’s results were then tallied and the results confirmed.
Terry Willis who is the managing director of EICUK, was one of the panel judges , was full of praise for the event:
