Established in 2004, MEGlobal is a joint venture between The Dow Chemical Company of the United States, and Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC) of Kuwait.
MEGlobal manufactures more than 1.0 million metric tonnes of EG per year at its three manufacturing plants in Alberta, Canada. MEGlobal operates the FS1 EO/EG (Ethylene Oxide/Ethylene Glycol) plant in Fort Saskatchewan in the Alberta Province of Canada, home to approximately 45 employees. The Fort Saskatchewan site began operations in 1961.
