Saudi Aramco, Total and Shell among names to attend industry event

Some of the industry’s top operators will come together to discuss effective water management next month.

Saudi Aramco, Shell and Total and Shell are among the names confirmed for the the Produced Water Management 2014 event that will take place from 14-16 October in Istanbul, Turkey.

A range of topics are to be covered, including: the future of water management, increasing the output of water treatment plants and environmental management.

“The workshop is an unmatched opportunity for oil and gas professionals to learn about produced water processing and its impact on environment,” said Hani Khalifa, technical advisory committee co-chairman and senior process engineer at Saudi Aramco.

“Attendees will have a chance to exchange and discuss best practices and cost-efficient technological solutions with a good blend of participants from oil and gas operators, consultants and technology vendors.”
