Alemco Zawawi wins MEP deal on Oman gas project

Contract was awarded by BP Exploration (Epsilon)

Alemco Zawawi has been awarded the MEP contract for BP Khazzan Gas Project in Oman.

The project is the full MEP contract, which is for BP Exploration (Epsilon) Ltd (BP) who are exploring the commerciality of gas reservoirs in the Northern part of Oman.

Alemco Zawawi is a locally established partnership between Alemco & the Zawawi Group set up to support main contractors, ministerial entities and clients with a quality MEP service. Alemco Zawawi is a related business of ALEC.

The complete scope of work includes full MEP installation and infrastructure to 23 buildings, including accommodations blocks, maintenance and administration buildings, with a total built up area of 32,000m².

The programme will run for 22 months, and Alemco Zawawi’s client is Carillion. Overall client is BP and the consultant/engineer is Atkins / Jacobs.
