OneSubsea, a Cameron and Schlumberger company, has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract by BP to supply subsea systems for the West Nile Delta Taurus Libra development offshore Egypt.
The scope of supply includes ten large bore gas trees and related subsea equipment with first deliveries expected in Q1 2016.
The Taurus Libra field is the first development in the West Nile Delta area and is being tied back to the existing West Delta Deep development.
OneSubsea chief executive officer, Mike Garding said: “This project is being executed on a fast track schedule, utilising the standardised BP horizontal gas tree and control system that we jointly developed. OneSubsea has a long history of supplying subsea systems to Egypt and we look forward to continuing this success.”
