ADOS has invested in a new Service Centre in the heart of UAE’s Refining and Petrochemical Industry at Ruwais. The facility will eventually have a one stop shop for servicing both static and rotating equipment, where EMERSON Automation Solutions will establish a “Quick-Ship” Control Valve Centre and John Crane a new Mechanical Seal Service Centre.
The Service Centre will also be home to ADOS-Klinger Gaskets along with Swagelok Components and Instrumentation Fittings. There will also be an ADOS Valve Service Centre, where most types of valve maintenance and repairs will be undertaken.
An essential service for new projects and shutdown work is that of Joint Integrity Assurance. This combines services such as bolting, machining and flange data management to deliver leak-free start-up and operations at client facilities through management of bolted connections including full traceability.
Hydratight pioneered this and now have added Process and Pipeline Services to the legacy of Joint Integrity Assurance in order to deliver industry leading process and pipeline cleaning, testing, verification, and integrity management services. The integrated services platform at Ruwais coupled with a thorough understanding of client’s facilities and their needs, enables Hydratight, along with ADOS, to deliver safe and efficient plant start-ups, maintenance and shutdown programs every time, no matter how complex the process.
ADOS established one of the first Engineering Workshops in Abu Dhabi to provide dedicated manufacturing and repair services to the Oil & Gas Industry. Established in 1972 by Musallam Maktoom and two Engineering related companies from the UK, it was set up to provide the essential machining capabilities much needed in the fast paced drilling and production industry.
Today, ADOS is one of the leading facilities of its kind in Abu Dhabi, maintaining the integrity that it was built on. The machining capabilities range from simple manual operated to the more sophisticated CNC Lathes and Multi Axes Machining Centres.
ADOS EI has expanded several times, each time adding a new stream such as an ASME qualified fabrication facility for Pressure Vessels, Scraper Traps & Exchanger components and a dedicated manufacturing facility for Double Walled underground fuel storage tanks.
