What are the services that you supply to the industry?
We provide a range of pipeline and plant pre-commissioning and commissioning services to the energy industry required for a safe and efficient start-up of the facilities. We have recently added a number of services for the pipeline intervention and on-site engineering in collaboration with Power Technology Services from the UK, providing hot tapping, line stoppling, leak sealing and other on-site mechanical services. I am pleased to say that the market response for this new service has been excellent. Trans Asia has already bagged a couple of prestigious projects.
How was business for your company in 2016? What do you plan to achieve in 2017?
Even with the current oil scenario, 2016 was a good year for us as a number of projects were nearing mechanical completion, which is when most of our services are required. We were able to achieve double digit growth last year. 2017 seems to have started out on a good note for us, with a number of project awards in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which should increase our top line considerably.
Could you share with us a list of your company’s oil and gas clientele and the scope of your engagement with them?
We are working with most of the reputed EPC contractors who are active in the Middle East region as well as with the National and International Oil Companies for their operation and maintenance needs.
