Could you be the next big winner?

Upstream Project of the Year 2020 - Upper Zakum, ADNOC Group

The Middle East Energy Awards are getting closer and nominations will soon be open (date to be announced!). The editors of all three hosting publications encourage nominations from every corner of the industry.

There is more room than ever to celebrate the wide scope of achievements from the individuals and organisations striving to innovate and change the energy sector in a time marked by uncertainty and turbulence.

The nomination process is online-only, and and the editors of the hosting publications will soon announce when nominations are open. Oil & Gas Middle East and Refining & Petrochemicals Middle East are once again teaming up with sister publication Utilities Middle East to present the
Middle East Energy Awards. The awards will celebrate the achievements of the upstream, downstream, midstream, and utilities segments, including achievements in renewable and alternative energy.

Since 2010, the annual awards event has been a meeting point for industry leaders and stakeholders, and after the virtual edition of the event in 2020, we are excited to bring the awards back in person in 2021; we look forward to seeing you there on 24 November for a celebration that will
recognise excellence in the energy sector and resilience throughout the trials of the past year.

The award categories will shine a spotlight on the very best people, projects, companies, and initiatives that are driving the energy sector ahead into the future, in the midst of yet another industry transition.

But it’s not just about the biggest oil producers or suppliers; we strive to recognise achievements from every vertical in the energy value chain.

As we look forward to gathering once more, look at the few featured awards categories, including previous winners, and ask yourself: Could that be me?

We encourage every reader to consider nominating themselves, their company, or a project they’ve worked on for the Middle East Energy Awards. I believe that high achievers and displays of excellence can be found almost anywhere, especially in a year where people have had to band together, going above and beyond with innovative solutions to push through the pandemic.
