After the recent appointment of Jim Berndt as EVP Middle East and APAC, FourPhase plans to expand its market and offer its solids management and production optimisation solutions globally. The Norway-based solids management specialists offer production solutions that enable oil and gas companies to effectively manage their solids and recovery of oil and gas reserves, therefore, reducing production costs, improving field economics and delivering more oil and gas from the reservoir to the refinery.
Berndt will identify opportunities in key markets such as Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Australia to expand FourPhase’s client base. With an extensive background in global account management at Baker Hughes and Expro, including several APAC projects, Berndt’s expertise lies in relationship building and identifying solutions to solve clients’ challenges.

The appointment follows successful deployments of FourPhase’s automated DualFlow desander technology in Saudi Arabia and a large-scale bulk desander project in Malaysia. In both applications, the technology has enabled the operators to safely and cost-efficiently optimise production.
