AVEVA software to be used on ADMA-OPCO project

NPCC to use software for EPC contract recently awarded by ADMA-OPCO

Global technology provider AVEVA has announced that National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has chosen its integrated software package for use on the EPC contract the company was recently awarded for Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company’s (ADMA-OPCO) Integrated Gas Development project, the Habshan Platform Offshore Facilities (IGD-HAP).

Abu Dhabi-based NPCC will use AVEVA PDMS on the IGD_HAP project that includes  an offshore gas processing platform that performs gas separation and dehydration, a remote flare tower, a 46″ main gas line to Das island and interconnecting bridges between IGD-HAP and the existing Umm Shaif Super complex.

“We are going to use PDMS throughout all phases of the project. After the 3D modeling and design, drawings and isometrics will be generated by PDMS,” Dr Ahmad Kurdali, engineering director of NPCC said.

“We will also be integrating the PDMS model with the structural steel detailing software to optimise the production of fabrication drawings,” he added.
