The Iranian Island of Kish will welcome 200 exhibitors from over 20 countries as it prepares to host the 10th International Energy Exhibition.
Exhibitors from the US, Russia, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Portugal will take part in the event to be held from the 13-16 January 2014, Iranian news agency Fars has said.
The companies participating in the Kish exhibition are from the oil and gas industries as well as the power sector. The list of organisations participating is set to include Iran’s Power Industry Syndicate, Association of Iran’s Oil Industry Equipment Manufacturers and Association of Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Engineering and Contracting Companies.
The exhibition is expected to focus on the practical capabilities of Iran’s energy sector, with an emphasis on production and distribution of oil and gas as well as the potential for exploration of new fields.
Developing and expanding technologies and techniques, the chain of procurement and production in energy projects are also expected to be high on the agenda.
Last year’s participants included the IOOC, Iran’s Productivity Organization, Mapna, Imam Khomeini Petrochemicals, Jam Petrochemicals and Kermanshah Petrochemical.
