Exports of oil from the neutral zone fields shared by Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are expected to resume in April.

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation has reportedly told customers that production has started at the Khafji field. Production from the other Neutral Zone field, Wafra, is set to resume in three months.

This comes following an unsuccessful meeting between OPEC and its allies to discuss a potential further reduction in production. Saudi Arabia is now opening the taps, with plans to increase production and slash its crude prices in April.
