BP and the USÂ Coast Guard are spearheading what is thought to be the largest ever oil spill response operations out of Louisiana on the Gulf of Mexico. Their mission to clean up millions of gallons of oil which have gushed into the sea following an explosion and fire which destroyed the Transocean semi submersible drilling rig Deepwater Horizon.
