APC plant enters planned maintenance phase

The planned maintenance programme is expected to last three weeks

Saudi Arabia’s Advanced Petrochemical has announced that it will shut its propylene and polypropylene plant for three weeks in March for a scheduled maintenance programme.

Advanced Petrochemicals stated that the plant would go offline on March 1st and is expected to come back online by March 22 2015. The company also confirmed that the impact of the planned maintenance programme will be reflected in its first quarter financial figures.

The Advanced Petrochemical Company is a key regional producer of propylene and polypropylene, as well as a range of commodity petrochemical products.
