Lukoil appoints new head of Overseas Holding

Former president Kuzyaev was moved to company’s headquarters

Lukoil has announced the appointment of Sergey Nikiforov as the new head of Lukoil Overseas Holding.

Nikiforov was deputy production manager of Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (Republic of Kazakhstan) in 1998. In 2002 he became a regional director of Lukoil Overseas in Egypt and moved on to the position of general director of Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company in 2006. In 2008 he was appointed senior vice president for development and production of Lukoil Overseas.

Andrey Kuzyaev, who was the president of Lukoil Overseas Holding since 2000, has been transferred to a position in the company’s headquarters as of 1st October.

LUKOIL Overseas Holding was established on December 4th, 1997 and has been managing Lukoil’s international upstream projects, ensuring over 10% of all HC production and about 30% of the Company’s gas production.
