Gates Engineering & Services has welcomed 20 Emirati students from the Institute of Applied Technology in Dubai to its workshops to experience hydraulics in a real working environment.
The students were all studying mechanical engineering and were given an insight into health and safety and were also given a tour of the factory.
The students were also given a presentation on career opportunities, growth and real life work environments for fresh graduates.
Dave Walker, who gave one of the lectures to the students, said: “Let’s hope this is the first of many educational interactions that Gates E&S have and the start of a prosperous future between education and Gates E&S.”
