Bahrain Oil Minister Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa issued an edict to reform the board of national oil company BAPCO.
Dr. Dawood Nasif was appointed chairman of the BAPCO board, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA). The board comprises Mohammed Abulla Al-Jamea, Nasser Sultan Al-Suweidi, Abdulmajid Ali Al-Awadhi, Abdulmajid Bashir Al-Qassab, Youssef Abdulla Humood and Dr. Ashok Krishna. The board will serve a three-year term.
BNA reported that Nasif thanked Al-Khalifa for his efforts to support development plans and to promote the company.
