Offshore marine and engineering consultancy Aqualis Offshore has signed a contract for provision of rig moving services with Saudi Aramco.

Under the deal, Saudi Aramco’s jack-up rigs operating in the Arabian Gulf will receive moving services and personnel support from Aqualis’s office in the Middle East.

The deal will last for the next three years but the value of the contract has not been disclosed.

Part of Aqualis ASA , the company’s contract party is Aqualis Offshore Marine Services LLC.

“We may be a young company, but our team consist solely of highly experienced personnel with 10-30 years’ offshore experience. This experience has secured this prestigious and strategically important contract,” says David Wells, CEO of Oslo-listed Aqualis ASA.
